In 2016 I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease and adrenal fatigue. I was a busy stay at home mother of 4, trying to home school my two oldest kids who we would later find out struggle with Asperger's and ADHD with executive functioning disorder and to top it off teach about 12 group fitness classes a week to help with the budget   

Life was busy, but good, until it all fell apart with my health.  I started experiencing extreme fatigue to the point of migraines and muscle weakness.  If I taught a class I would be in bed for the rest of the day with a severe migraine.  My hands became so stiff I could barely grab the steering wheel while I was driving.  My body hurt and I was super grumpy.

After several tests and discussions with my Dr.  I was put on some medications, heavy doses of vitamins and supplements and was sent on my merry way.  It helped but it wasn't until I started really focusing on my diet and making some drastic changes that I really started getting my life back.  

Since then I have been trying to further my understanding of how food affects our bodies.  We have all heard the sayings "you are what you eat", the same is the reverse, "you are what you don't eat" too.
